1. Who We Are

Recovo ("Recovo", "we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered accounts receivable recovery service operated by Recovo SAS, a French company (société par actions simplifiée, SAS) in the process of registration in France — Company ID (SIREN): pending. Registered office: 13 rue de Sarrebourg, 67300 Schiltigheim, France. This page will be updated once the SIREN is issued.

Recovo SAS was founded by Breogan Dotor, who also serves as publication director for this website.

We provide late invoice recovery services exclusively for marketing and creative agencies in the United States, acting as their authorized first-party representative.

2. Data We Collect and How

We collect only what is strictly necessary. Through this website, we collect:

  • Email address — submitted voluntarily via our contact form when you request a free AR audit.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or any financial data through this website. We do not operate analytics software, advertising pixels, or behavioral tracking on this site.

Our contact form is powered by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which transmits your submission to our inbox and acts as a data processor on our behalf. Submissions are not stored on Web3Forms' servers after delivery. See their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.

Your browser may also transmit your IP address to Google's servers when loading our web typefaces from Google Fonts CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). Recovo does not receive or store this data. See Google's privacy policy for details.

3. Why We Collect It — Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process your email address for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry about Recovo's AR recovery service and, if relevant, to follow up about becoming a client.

The legal basis for this processing under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Article 6) is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to genuine business inquiries from professionals who have voluntarily contacted us. We have assessed that this interest does not override your rights and freedoms as a data subject.

If you become a Recovo client, additional processing of your data (invoice data, client contact data) occurs under a separate Service Agreement, which establishes additional legal bases and data handling obligations appropriate to the service relationship.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

For leads who do not become clients: we retain your email address for up to 12 months from our last contact, then delete it — or immediately upon your request.

For clients: we retain data for the duration of the service relationship plus 5 years, in accordance with French commercial law archiving obligations (Code de commerce, art. L123-22).

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. Data is shared only as follows:

  • Web3Forms (web3forms.com) — form processor, acting as data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Operates within the US; transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Google LLC — your browser loads typeface files from Google Fonts CDN; Google may log your IP per their own policies. Recovo has no control over this processing.

No data is transferred to advertising networks, data brokers, or any other parties.

6. Your Rights Under the GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction — request that we limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Object — object at any time to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@recovo.pro. We will respond within 30 calendar days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority:

CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés)
3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France

7. California Residents — Your CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA grants you the following rights:

  • Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the purposes of collection, and any third parties with whom it has been shared.
  • Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal obligations).
  • Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — Recovo does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This right does not apply, but we will honor it if you submit a request.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a CCPA request, email contact@recovo.pro with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request". We will respond within 45 calendar days.

8. Cookies and Tracking

Recovo does not set cookies on this website. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are used.

When you respond to the cookie notice on our landing page, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

Google Fonts CDN may set cookies in your browser independently. These are not under Recovo's control. If you wish to prevent this, you may block fonts.googleapis.com in your browser settings or use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

9. Security

Data transmitted via our contact form is encrypted in transit using TLS. We do not store personal data on our own servers — form submissions are delivered to our email inbox and stored by our email provider, which uses industry-standard security measures. We take reasonable organizational measures to limit access to personal data to those who need it.

No transmission over the internet is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data in transit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes affecting existing clients, we will notify you by email with at least 14 days' notice before the change takes effect.

Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
